Danielle Parker, PsyD
Asking for help is one of the most difficult things to do for yourself or your child. You've taken the first step, so let me help you with the next.
My story begins at the University of California, Santa Barbara where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Although I always knew I wanted to work with people, my coursework really solidified that passion.

I then earned both my Master's and Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego. During this portion of my education, I strengthened my knowledge and expertise by working alongside other licensed psychologists and psychiatrists who trained me in providing psychotherapy.
Over the past 10 years, I have been working in a variety of settings, such as in-patient psychiatric facilities, residential treatment centers, outpatient clinics, as well as providing in-home services in order to hone my skills as a therapist. Now, as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I enjoy helping others using techniques such as motivational interviewing, relational therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, behavior modification, and family systems.

My goal is to provide a safe space and build strong therapeutic alliances with all of my clients. I promise to make each treatment plan unique to my client in order to fully capture their individual needs and facilitate lasting change.
